My first weekend back from LA I shot a great family up on the Highline. The mom had contacted me months ago to schedule because her adult children were now all over the place and would only be in town for a small window of time. The family wanted a quirkier family portrait not too staged or "cheesy family portrait" (which I hate so I was so happy to hear that)! I immediately thought of the Highline and just prayed to the weather gods that we would be okay figuring if it rained we could shoot in the covered areas. We totally lucked out and had a warm January day reaching almost 60 degrees! The family was great to shoot and had such fun chemistry. Only downside was they made me miss my own family!
